What is Love ?
Anant Kapoor | Dec 9 2008

A question asked a million/zillion times and everyone have his or her own way of explaining and expressing it. Love if I may say so is something inherent in every creature found on this planet. Starting from an Infant to an Oldie, Love has no defined language but yet universally accepted and is known to do wonders.

I feel this word has a significant role to play in each one of us and this Feeling is something which separates us from the Animal Kingdom and makes us the Superior creature amongst the all. With Love comes the feeling of care, responsibility, a sense of pride and many more...

In fact one can Love any and everything found around him. We have heard statements like “I Love doing my work”,” I Love playing/eating/sleeping/shopping”. The basic idea is people associate the word Love with what they feel suits them or they are comfortable doing it and take some amount of pride in doing the “Thing” they like doing the most. Most often people tend to associate themselves with what they tend to do and thus comes the word “I love doing this”.

Love is a Universal Word as it fits with any and everything, one can Love his country, the place where he/she lives, His or her assets, or the most precious of the things. Most often the word Love is associated with someone we Love, again it can be your Family, Parents, Spouse or the Partner, Friends and last but not the least the Relatives.

Love is about understanding the person/object you love and about the Fine Tuning that you can develop slowly but steadily and keep on going with it. There has to be a common thinking between the two and also the wisdom to think and react accordingly. Well the list and my thoughts on it will go on and on but I would like to stop for a while.

My comments are based on What I see around me and observe in the relationships which tend to be promising and everlasting but get Haywire or Do not carry on forever as thought of. As all such relationships have some of the above Ingredients missing in them.

This is purely what I feel and there might be a few more additions or subtractions or edits you would like to see, leave me a comment and I will work it in. We can debate about what should be added, and talk about alternatives or new ideas.
